After volunteering to organize the trip the following year, she was hired as Program Director in 1998. She has an intense personal commitment to World Cataract Foundation and has devoted more than a decade to improving the quality of life for those less fortunate.
Lori has organized more than 15 missions to Ometepec, Mexico, two to Huatulco, Mexico and assisted ophthalmologists with trips to Papua New Guinea, Ukraine and the Philippines. In addition to organizing the medical missions, Lori’s other responsibilities include overseeing the Medical Personnel Exchange Program, organizing the WCF board meetings and office management.
