It is packed in a sturdy pelican case and includes an easily movable floor stand and high quality locking wheels. It also has an easy to use monitoring and recoding system for teaching. It doesn’t falter during power outages. If the power flickers or fails completely, the microscope lighting will continue on for up to 20 hours on the battery power. It will recharge as soon as the power is restored. Lori Hudson, Executive Director of World Cataract Foundation, said, “To deliver the best care possible to our patients, it is important to have dependable equipment that is easy to transport. The scopes we have had in the past required two cases and weighed more than 50 lbs. each.
