SIGHT NIGHT 2019

<p class="font_8">Thank you to&nbsp;everyone who&nbsp;attended, donated and sponsored the The World Cataract Foundation's 15th Annual Sight Night&nbsp;held on August 15, 2019 at&nbsp;Theatre Memphis.&nbsp;Over 300 guests enjoyed the high energy and super talented cast&nbsp;of <span style="font-style:italic;">Mamma Mia.</span></p>

<p class="font_8"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Freeman Vision Award</span></p>

<p class="font_8">WCF Board of Directors presented McVean Trading &amp; Investments with the 2019 Freeman Vision Award. In 1986 Charles McVean was first introduced to the World Cataract Foundation in 1999 by Dr. Jerre Freeman , who was able to impress the principals of McVean Trading &amp; Invesmtnets with the importance of WCF's mission of "helping the world to see" and the need for corporate support to accomplish that mission.&nbsp; Over the years, not only has McVean Trading generously contributed financially to the WCF, but a number of the firm's employees have donated their time and effortst on WCF medical mission trips to impoverished areas around the world. The World Cataract Foundation is grateful to McVean Trading &amp; Investments for their consistent and consideralbe support and is proud to honor the firm with the 2019 Freeman Vision Award. Michael Wharton, President of McVean Trading &amp; Investments accpeted the Freeman Vision Award.</p>

<p class="font_8"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Million Dollar Round Table Foundation Grant</span></p>

<p class="font_8">Representing the MDRT Foundation, K.C. Lam, CLU, ChFC, CFP, presented a $10,000 grant to World Cataract Foundation President, Gib Wilson. K.C. is a 36 year qualifying and life member, a Silver Knight, a 21 year Court of the Table and 5 year Top of the Table of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is an Emeritus Director of the World Cataract Foundation Board of Directors and founder of the Financial Planning Group of Memphis.</p>
