Million Dollar Round Table

The Million Dollar Round Table Foundation awarded World Cataract Foundation a $3,500 grant. This grant will be used to purchase a Statim, a type of autoclave for cleaning instruments, for our newest outreach in St. Ann's Bay, Jamaica.

The MDRT Foundation was created in 1959 to provide MDRT members with a means to give back to their communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $38 million in more than 72 countries throughout the world and in all of 50 US states. These funds were raised by MDRT members and industry partners. One of the conditions of applying for a grant is that a MDRT member must submit a letter of recommendation for the organization and the project. Emeritus Director of World Cataract Foundation and MDRT member, K.C. Lam, CLU, ChFC, CFP, provided the letter of recommendation.
